The yearning for a watch that didn't just look attractive and fancy; but a watch that served a purpose. A watch that one can count on in any adverse condition; but in the meantime look good on the wrist in any situation. We thought a little more and said to ourselves, why aren't there watch companies that offer legitimate warranties on their product? We thought a little more on this subject and the only reason we were able to come up with is the fact manufacturers prefer to refrain from standing by their product. We wanted to change that, and not only design a watch built to take any abuse thrown at it, but at the same time let the consumer know that we mean business when it comes to our product and that we stand by what we manufacture.

Inspired by looking through the glass of a rifle scope, the Venator Reticle was born...

Venator (IPA: [ve'na:tor]) is the Latin word for hunter.

Design & Testing

We spent 9 months in the design phase throwing around different ideas for shapes, sizes, asthetics, mechanicals, materials, etc. Once we finalized our final design, we sourced our own material, had the necessary tooling made and manufactured an initial run of 26 prototypes. These prototypes went through a rigorous 6 month long field testing phase. Worn and abused by the members of the Special Operations Community, Law Enforcement, Survivalists, Contractors, etc., these watches were put through a great deal of adverse conditions. All continue to be worn to this day.

Lume

We love our lume and are specing the Reticle with BGW9. We have found this to be our favorite. There's no need to worry as your Reticle will glow through the night.

Case & Movement

Our case is designed around a Seiko NH35a Automatic Movement. Our combined experience over the years dictated that we build this piece with something we have a ton of experience with and ultimately trust. It is not only reliable, accurate, and a straight up workhorse right out of the box, but regulated at our facility to ensure uniformed accuracy when it leaves our hands.

Crown

If you notice, the Reticle Crown is manufactured purposely to be gripped properly to adjust your watch with ease, and make sure it is easily tightened after adjustments. Furthermore, we have manufactured it with a Dual-Seal to ensure it stays free of dust and or moisture.

Dials

Designing a dial that one could quickly look down at and immediately know what time it is was a big deal to us that we did not take lightly. This dial is made to be easily viewed. Period! We have 3 dial options. Black, Navy Blue, and Mil Green. Dials are also easily switched around at our facility just in case you'd like to change things up a bit...

Screw Bars

When we came to deciding which direction to go as far as lug bars, we wanted to bring something to the table that was different, yet simple and functional. Something to make strap changes easy, but at the same time giving that piece-of-mind that your bars aren't going to break if you accidentally snag your watch on something. So we designed a set of bars that are strong, but also don't have to worry about stripping during strap changes, hence why we decided to spec them with T7 Torx. These babies not only give the watch that extra nice look, and aren't stripping.

Materials

The Reticle is offered with 2 different case material options:

Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5) Known as the “workhorse” of the titanium alloys, Ti 6Al-4V, or Grade 5 titanium, is the most commonly used of all titanium alloys. It accounts for 50 percent of total titanium usage the world over. Titanium is commonly used in Aerospace & Defense Applications.
Type 316L Stainless Steel. It is more resistant to general corrosion and pitting than conventional nickel chromium stainless steel and is commonly used in Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Marine applications. It also possess's Anti-Magnetic Properties. All in all, making it an ideal material for a watch.

Packaging

Product packaging represents the quality of product one is receiving. And we wanted our packaging to represent the quality watch we are putting out. So we spared no expense on the kit!

Storage Case is manufactured of Resin & Glass Fiber able to withstand temperatures ranging from -40℃~90℃. Anti-ultraviolet and Impact resistant case body with integrated pressure release valve.
Interior Case is custom made from EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) This material is the ultimate in pre-formed shock protection keeping its contents ultra secure.

Warranty

All Reticle components come with a Limited Lifetime International Transferable Warranty. You are covered from all defects in material and workmanship. The Movement is covered by Seiko factory warranty which will then transfer to us after the warranty is over. Furthermore, if there is any case that warranty service is needed, shipping expenses are assumed at our expense both ways.
